What We Collect
When you create an account, we collect:
- Account info: Your email address, name, and profile picture (if you choose to add one)
- Profile info: Bio, location, links, and other info you choose to share
- Content: Posts, comments, and projects you create on the platform
When you use YOLO PUSH, we automatically collect:
- Usage data: Pages you visit, features you use, and when you use them
- Device info: Browser type, operating system, and device type
- IP address: Used for security and to know roughly where you're from
What We DON'T Collect
We intentionally avoid collecting:
- Sensitive personal information (health, religion, political views, etc.)
- Your browsing activity on other websites
- Information from sources you didn't give us
- Any data from anyone under 18 (sorry, young founders - come back later!)
No Third-Party Data Sharing
We do NOT share your personal data with third parties for their own purposes.
We're a platform for founders building in public. Selling your data would be the ultimate anti-YOLO move. We make money from our platform, not from you.
The only exceptions where data might be shared:
- With your explicit consent: If you ask us to share something
- Legal requirements: If the law requires us to (but we'd fight it if we could)
- Service providers: Companies that help us run the platform (hosting, email, etc.) - but they're bound by strict agreements and can't use your data for anything else
How We Protect Your Data
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data:
- Encryption in transit (HTTPS everywhere)
- Secure cloud infrastructure (Cloudflare)
- Regular security audits and updates
- Strict access controls for our team
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of all your data
- Correct: Fix any inaccurate information
- Delete: Remove your account and data entirely
- Export: Get a portable copy of your data
- Object: Opt out of certain data processing

If we make significant changes to this privacy policy, we'll notify you via email or a prominent notice on the platform before the changes take effect.
